Our wells water pump stopped working and Thomas came out right away, video called us to figure out the problem quick and came with the part pronto. Highly recommend!

Thomas and his crew were actually the fourth company we spoke with regarding our pump running. One came out and quoted us 2700 for a new pump after being there maybe 10 minutes. The other two couldn’t take the job but both referred us to Thomas. We lucked out. I really didn’t expect them to even come out today but they were able to diagnose and trouble shoot the problem and FIXED IT! He and his team were super polite especially since they were working past their shift. I will absolutely use them again!

Thomas and his team came and figured out a solution to our ongoing sprinkler issues that a previous company would not take the time to look more into. Instead, the prior company would just put a “band-aid” over the issue and called it a day which caused us to have continuous problems with our irrigation system, leaving us frustrated. We are so appreciative for Aside from the Rest for the time they put into finding and fixing our irrigation issue in a timely manner. We can’t say enough good things about Aside From The Rest, especially Thomas. My grandma and I originally hired them to cut down a tree and trim several trees around the yard, and from the very beginning they were professional, hardworking, and incredibly kind. What really stood out to us, though, was how much they genuinely cared. After the tree work was finished, Thomas and his crew went above and beyond by helping replace our pump and even taking the time to teach us how to use the sprinkler system properly. On top of that, they later came back on their free time just to help fix the sprinkler heads for us. My grandma is 83 years old, and the kindness, patience, and respect Thomas has shown her means more to our family than words can say. Anytime we’ve needed help or had questions, they’ve been there with a smile and a willingness to help however they can. It’s rare these days to find people who truly care about others the way they do. Aside From The Rest lives up to its name in every possible way. Owner spent two hours getting to know me and our needs, business office beyond friendly and accommodating, military discount. HIGHLY recommended. We LOVE them!

Assure From the rest - Thomas- was recommended to me from another well repair company and I am happy they recommended him. The guys are all friendly and personable, Thomas was direct and empathetic to my cost concerns, and the work they did on my well was pristine! The area looks much cleaner because of all the unnecessary pieces that were removed the sprinkler system is working like a charm! I am a forever customer! I would like to share why THIS is the company to go with when in need of well water service. Back at the end of January of this year, I was in a pickle and realized that I needed help. I generally will fix my own issues around the house however, I met my match when it came to a deep well jet well system. I have worked with shallow well systems before however, this was a first and unfortunately, I exhausted my knowledge and my understanding of what was going wrong. This is a long read so my overall summary will be at the end sharing my 5-star experience with Thomas. I called one company who after hearing what I tried to do and hoping that they could assist me in a pinch (that pinch was at 9:00PM on a Friday), they told me that they would not be able to help me and to try this company. I was given his contact info which I promptly called for help. Thomas, who was already tackling other issues helping someone else out, took the time to walk me through what I have done and began to help diagnose the root of the issues. We went back and forth with some recommendations on what to try and told me to let him know how it worked. Fast forward to day 2 and 3: After trying all of the recommended things, we went back to the drawing board which ultimately required me to pull the suction pipe from the ground and check some of the parts. After doing this, we went through several other techniques to resolve however, we realized that the setup that I changed the well to was not going to work. After changing the system back with an identical remanufactured pump, I began to prime the well to work. Well, the prime never took. After relaying my progress to Thomas, he advised that we need to determine if the main pipe would hold water or not. Turns out, it did not (mistake #3 for me). We discovered through this process that the check valve was in fact leaking which required removing the suction pipe again (42 feet of iron pipe is not fun solo to pull in case anyone is wondering). It was about this time that we were working through day 4 and Thomas checked up on me to see how it was going. After briefing him on the situation, he gave me information to the supplier he uses for his well parts supplier, and he also informed them of what I needed. After going to the store and getting the parts, getting the new parts on the pipe, and sinking the pipe back into the ground, I was now getting the main suction pipe to prime. I re-assembled the rest of the pump and pipes back together and with a touch of excitement and fear of the unknown, I flipped the well breaker back on and I was now getting water pressure again! It was the best thing to happen to me in all of 4 days with no water and I have Thomas to thank for that. I know some of you DIY guys out there are thinking, “YouTube has videos about this stuff…” No they don’t lol. Not when it came to picking the system apart to diagnose. Trust me I surfed YouTube for the answers but got none. I probably should have made a video to help the next guy out but I am hoping the next guy reading this calls Thomas instead. There are not enough words I could think of to say thank you to someone who took the time from their weekend to help me while they were trying to help other customers out for issues mostly generated from my ignorance (the well pump did die BTW but the solution was not getting a pump at Lowes or re-plumbing what was there). Thomas was very knowledgeable and after giving him all the information as time went on, he was able to hit the nail on the head to help solve my problems. Even after the water was on that day, Thomas reached out to me that evening to check and see how it was working after all of that, which tells me that he truly did care about my situation and wanted to make sure we were still good. If I ever need any additional assistance with my well, I know exactly who to reach out to and who I can trust. Once again, thank you Thomas for everything!

I had a problem with my sprinkler system and needed someone quick, called 3 different companies and had appointments at least 3 days out. After the 4th day I called Site one in port orange, and asked Carl if he new anyone.. He recommended Thomas, and boy and I am so happy with him. He came out within a half hour or less with his helper Danny, within 2 hours they had my system up and running, cleaned there mess, didn't even know that they were there, And the next day called me to make sure everything was still working properly... Old fashioned work ethics. Which is very hard to fine.. If you want it done, And done right call this company Because they are Aside from the Rest....Amen... Thomas’ help was invaluable. He talked me through a diagnosis of my pump and well issue over the phone and no doubt saved me a significant sum of money.
